For Theresa, booking a boudoir session was about celebrating a chapter she never expected to face. After her double mastectomy, she wanted to honor her new body in a way that felt positive and empowering. “I booked a session because I thought it would be a good way to celebrate my unexpected new boobs after having a double mastectomy. I was thankful that my cancer was caught early but it still really sucks at age 40 especially with no family history or symptoms. I decided a session would be a good way to celebrate a choice I didn’t have. My reasoning didn’t change.

Having a very public job locally I just wanted to be careful with what was posted. I talked to Julie about this, she completely understood and my concerns were gone.

Her experience:
Fun. I knew my pictures would be good and I had a great time with Julie and Ky. I was prepared and followed directions :) I have been excited to have this day - it was like having a girls day with friends. Hair and makeup with Ky - being pampered then pictures and chatting - a super fun day filled with smiles and positive energy.

Theresa booked her boudoir session 11 months in advance - but she was so excited she couldn’t wait that long.
