Still That Girl: Miranda
Miranda booked her session because she was ready to do something for herself again. Not centered around anyone else, not taking care of everything, not being the boss. Just because she wanted to feel good. She put it on the calendar, waited three months for her date, and when the day came, she walked in and chose herself.
Hereβs to Miranda <3 :
Her why:
I wanted to celebrate myself. Not just how I look, but who I am. The last year (year and a half) was messy and busy - a move, a divorce, a new job, a new business, and running a nonprofit. All too often I put everyone else first. This was a way to put me first. A way to gain confidence in who I am. A way to embrace my βmom bod.β A way to be empowered - just the way I am - not perfect, but filled with strength, beauty, and love - captured forever.
Her biggest concern:
My body/self esteem. I couldnβt lose weight after my son, so finally being able to see myself as beautiful is amazing.
her experience:
I was slightly nervous at first, but once I started, Julie made everything change. Instead of focusing on flaws, I felt myself letting go - leaning into the experience. I felt a rush of confidence, radiance, and personality. By the end, I felt empowered. It wasnβt just about taking photos; it was about seeing myself in a new light, embracing my body, realizing my βflawsβ make me myself, and owning my strength and beauty. I left the session standing taller, smiling wider, and feeling proud of the woman I am. I may not be the same size as pre-children, but I am one beautiful, badass mom and boss.
To whoever is reading:
If youβre on the fence- DO IT! Youβll never regret taking a chance on yourself, but you will regret never experiencing it. Itβs not just about pretty photos (although, duhβ¦ we love those)... Itβs about confidence, empowerment, and seeing yourself in a new way. Itβs normal to feel nervous, but Julie makes that melt away. You walk out feeling more beautiful about yourself. If you want - it can be a great gift for your partner, but more than anything - do it for yourself. Youβll be proud of yourself for taking the leap. It is 100% worth the investment in yourself.β
in her era:
Miranda chose the Sapphire Collection - two outfits, one bonus set, and a 10-image folio with matching digitals.
And by the end of her session, the nerves she walked in with werenβt even on her mind anymore. She was thinking about how strong she is. How far sheβs come. How good it feels to see herself differently.
She walked out proud. Not because she changed who she is, but because she embraced her exactly as she is.
Still that girl.
And you are too. β
