Boudoir Has No Age: This Is 84 - Lois
At 84 years old, Lois – aka "Nana" – stepped into our studio unsure if she'd go through with it. She’d come along for the experience, not expecting to be the one in front of the camera. But with her grandson Adam gently encouraging her, and even doing her makeup, something shifted. Surrounded by the warmth of our team, she found the courage to step out of her comfort zone… and into something completely unforgettable.
Her why:
“I was willing to try and model but I wasn’t sure I would do it this trip. My grandson Adam helped me feeling good about getting in front of the camera. I know Julie takes high quality photos. She is my daughter-in-law.

Her biggest concerns:
Showing too much of myself. Not in the best of shape. But she didn’t focus on those concerns. So I felt really good about it after the first outfit was on.
Her experience:
If I wasn’t secure with a specific pose, she didn’t make me do it, which felt good. I didn’t know what to expect but after it started I felt good. I did struggle to hold a pose at my age. Everything was great with staff. If I had a problem, they were quick to help. I was very comfortable with Julie giving me instructions. So patient, Julie was. Macy reminded me of my granddaughter and she did the bubbles and smoke machine.
To anyone reading:
Go ahead, do it. If you are uncomfortable, the staff will ease you into it. They are very easy to work with. She does wonderful work. She was very very patient. “
