About Me
Hi there! I’m **Julie Shetler**, and I’ve been a photographer for over 18 years. As a woman, I know how incredible it feels to be comfortable in your own skin, to truly know and love who you are and who you are becoming. I am on a mission to teach women that boudoir is for all shapes, sizes, and ages. Boudoir sessions are transformative in that way—they help you unashamedly embrace the real, authentic you.
My life is fun and crazy with six blended kids, and I find joy in the everyday moments. I bring that same energy and passion to my photography. I do boudoir sessions to give other women the gift of self-love and empowerment. My goal is to help you see and appreciate how incredible you and your body are.

I booked because a theme for one of Julie’s sales seemed perfect for me. I was hoping to build my self-love and self-confidence, as well as get some gifts for my upcoming anniversary. It was really hard for me to spend so much time away from my 10 month old, but it was so worth it. The studio was fabulous. We cranked Meghan Trainer and just had so much fun. I felt like a real model, and got to just be me again!

Absolutely amazing experience. I have followed Julie's photography journey for years and love seeing her teach women empowerment through photography. But it's honestly so much more than just photography, it's an entire experience! This photo shoot for me was about taking back what is mine and owning it. I put all my trust in Julie and she didn't let me down. I wore things I never would have thought to pick for myself and through the lens of her camera she showed me my beauty. She reminded me I am a strong, independent woman and this is MY body, none of which are to be ashamed of. I have control over my life and my body. I was definitely emotional, in a GOOD way, on my way home. I booked a session to try and see something other than my flaws when I look in the mirror. I loved Julie’s peppy personality and her hype to get me more comfortable. I didn’t think I was super prepared since I didn’t know what to expect. The studio is amazing. It’s so well put together. I would recommend this experience to everyone. It’s very eye opening.
